Am I the A-hole for wanting my friends to always help me with problems?

My roommates and I have been living together for about a year. We've made a terrible agreement where we each take turns doing the laundry, but lately, it feels like I'm always the one doing the work. Last week, my friend totally forgot to do their part. I got really upset because they just left it for me. I told them that it was unfair, and they got defensive. Now, they're saying I'm being a jerk. Am I really the asshole here?

Should I just let it go?
